Partit Nazzjonalista Head of Delegation in the European Parliament David Casa met with Commissioner Věra Jourová today ahead of her trip to Malta.

Commissioner Jourová will be in Malta to look into concerns related to the rule of law as well as the ongoing investigation into the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia.

"The deteriorating rule of law in Malta must be addressed. Maltese institutions must protect citizens and not corrupt politicians", stated David Casa.

MEP Casa presented the findings of the ad-hoc delegation of MEPs investigating the rule of law to the Commissioner.
