The frequency of buses will be increasing by a total of almost 300 daily trips on the following routes:

Route 82 - Valletta to Birżebbuġa

Route 212 - Sliema to Buġibba

Route 221 - Ċirkewwa to Buġibba

Route 222 - Sliema to Ċirkewwa

Route 223 - Buġibba to Għajn Tuffieħa

Route 225 - Sliema - Għajn Tuffieħa

Route 310 - Victoria - Marsalforn

Route 311 - Victoria - Dwejra

Route 322 - Marsalforn - Mġarr Ferry

During summer, the bus service is being extended to these popular beaches: Armier (Route 49), Blue Grotto (Route 74), Ġnejna Bay (Route 101) and Għar Lapsi (Route 109). All these routes operate from Monday to Sunday during summer.

The new schedules will be available online on publictransport.com.mt. Due to these changes the Journey Planner on the website and on the tallinja app will be temporarily unavailable until the updates are in place. During the coming days, Malta Public Transport will also be updating all the timetables on every bus stop in Malta and Gozo.
