Charles Dalli has been appointed as PBS CEO. Dalli had taken over as Acting CEO after John Bundy was removed.
John Bundy had been dismissed from his post of Chief Executive Officer of the Public Broadcasting Services. In a statement on 8 November 2017, the PBS had said the board had unanimously voted to terminate Bundy's employment. A few days prior, a damning report found that Bundy had breached PBS procurement regulations in a €500,000 car leasing deal. The report was leaked to sections of the media.
Dalli, according to today's statement, has spent many years working in various positions in PBS. He was appointed to this current position through a unanimous board vote.
