A Turkish man was seriously injured early this morning in a fight that took place in Paceville, the police said.

The incident took place in St George’s Road at 4.30am.

The 23-year-old Turk was found on the ground with serious injuries as a result of blows received.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Magistrate Charmaine Galea is conducting an inquiry.
