Three young men were injured and taken to hospital following a car crash outside Rabat at about 4.50 am.

A Land Rover and Ford Fiesta collided, resulting in the former flipping over.  The Land Rover was driven by a 29-year-old man from St Paul's Bay. The Ford Fiesta was driven by a 19-year-old passenger from Melleha, along with an 18-year-old passenger.

The three were sent to hospital were the two drivers were found to be suffering from slight injuries, whilst the passenger was found to be suffering from grievous injuries, according to the police.
