James Piscopo appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Lands Authority

James Piscopo will be serving as Chief Executive Officer within the Lands Authority as from 1 July, the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects announced on Monday.

This is the result of the process of the public call which was issued on 1 June 2018.

Piscopo is currently CEO of Transport Malta. He will be presenting his resignation to the TM board in the coming days, the ministry said.

“Concurrently, the Deputy Chairman of Transport Malta, Kevin Farrugia, will be assuming the chairmanship position, until, in line with the law governing Transport Malta, the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects will be appointing the Chairman for the same Authority. This appointment will go through a parliamentary process.”
