The Water Services Corporation said on Monday afternoon that water supply had been fully restored after damages caused do its water distribution system in Marsa were repaired.  

Following recent modifications to the primary distribution network, the water supply feeding this part of the island was diverted from Luqa reservoir to the Ta Qali group of  reservoirs, WSC said.

“Such swift action also impeded the creation of air pockets in the system. Inconvenience to the general public was therefore very limited in time. This is the first time this auxiliary supply was used. Meanwhile, repairs on the damaged section are still ongoing and well underway. The management thanks its workforce for the prompt action,” the corporation said.
