Two motorcyclists were injured in separate accidents in Attard on Tuesday afternoon.

In the first accident, a 21-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalised following a collision with a van in Triq l-Gharix, the police said.

The 21-year-old, who is from Birkirkara, was driving a KSR Moto Soho 125.

The van, a Toyota Dyna, was being driven by a 38-year-old man from Zebbug.

In another accident, a 33-year-old motorcyclist from San Gwann was injured in a collision with a Mazda Demio in Triq il-Pitkali.

The car was being driven by a 20-year-old man from Qormi.

Both motorcyclists were taken to Mater Dei Hospital. Their condition is not yet known.
