A 28-year-old man residing in Mosta was yesterday arrested by the Drug Squad after being found in possession of more than 1.5kg of suspected Cannabis.

He was also found in possession of firearms and ammunition.

A magisterialiInquiry has been appointed into the case whilst police investigations are still on-going.

The man is expected to be charged in court in the coming days.
