Joseph Muscat and St Kitts and Nevis PM keynote speakers at LA citizenship forum next week

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is expected to deliver a keynote speech at yet another citizenship and passport-plying event, on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

The other keynote speaker at the event, which runs from 22-24 July, will be the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Timothy Harris.

The announcement was not made by the Maltese government but by that of St Kitts and Nevis, which said that Harris is due to "make a powerful address on the successes, challenges and opportunities for the citizenship by investment industry".

The passport programmes of both Malta and St Kitts and Nevis are run by Henley & Partners.

The event will be the 2018 Uglobal Immigration Convention Los Angeles, "one of the world's premier events in the investment immigration industry".

According to the promotional literature, "The venue will offer high-quality education from industry leaders and networking opportunities for global investment professionals at the luxurious Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites.

"The conference will feature interactive panels moderated by experienced investment immigration professionals and in-depth workshops designed specifically for global citizenship by investment and residency by investment program professionals.

"This educational, networking event will host a diverse group of citizenship by investment professionals from programmes around the world including Australia, Cyprus, Caribbean, Malta, New Zealand, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and many more."
