Four people were injured, one of them seriously, in a massive fight involving seven people in Cospicua on Tuesday evening, the police said.
Officers from the Rapid Intervention Unit rushed to the site of the incident which started Santa Margerita Square and spilled to Erin Serracino Inglott Street at 10.30pm.
An ambulance was called on site and took two men, aged 37 and 17 and both residents of Cospicua, to hospital, where they were certified to be suffering from slight injuries.
A 43-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were taken to the Floriana health centre, with the woman treated for slight injuries while the boy suffered serious injuries.
The police elevated two knives and a rolling pin that were allegedly used in the fight.
The police did not say whether any of those involved were arrested.
