Health warning against swimming near Sirens in St Paul's Bay lifted

The Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health notifies that following repeated sampling of seawater carried out on a daily basis during the last days the bathing site at Sirens, St Paul's Bay is once again fit for bathing and thus the health warning is hereby being lifted.

The directorate had issued a health warning on the site after an overflow of sewage into the sea was reported on Monday.

For further information on the quality of bathing water, the public is kindly requested to contact the Health Inspectorate Services between 8.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. on telephone number (+356) 2133 7333, or by calling personally at its offices at Continental Business Centre, Old Railway Track, Santa Venera or via e-mail at [email protected].
