Two foreign men in hospital after being stabbed in St Julian’s

Two foreign men are in hospital after being stabbed in St Julian’s, the police said.

The incident took place in Dragonara Road at 3.30am.

A man from Ivory Coast, aged 38, who resides in Valletta, informed the police that he had been stabbed

Another man, a Libyan aged 32 who resides in Gzira, was also stabbed. Both were taken to hospital with slight injuries.

Another Libyan, aged 21, has been arrested for questioning.

The arrested man complained with the police that he was in pain and was taken to the Floriana polyclinic, where he was certified to have suffered slight injuries. The man is still under arrest.
