An elderly motorcyclist was injured this morning in a traffic accident in Kirkop, the police said.

The accident took place in Industry Road at 9.30am.

The biker, 77 of Kirkop, was involved in a collision with a Toyota Ractis driven by a 38-year-old woman, also of Kirkop.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
