An Eritrean woman was seriously injured after she was hit by a hard object during an argument with two Eritrean men in Marsa, the police said.

The incident took place at 1am on Monday in a restaurant in Sqaq l-Ajkla.

The 25-year-old woman was involved in an argument with two men aged 30 and 33. The police said the 30-year-old hit the woman with a hard object.

She was taken to hospital for treatment.
