A 41-year-old motorbike rider from Tarxien has suffered grievous injuries in a crash.

The incident occurred at 2 pm on St Thomas Street Fgura, when a collision occurred between the motorbike rider and a ford focus driven by a 31-year-old Gozo resident.

The rider was taken to hospital, and investigations are ongoing.
