Six Maltese drivers, members of the Island Car Club will compete in the 61st edition of the Hillclimb named Salita dei Monti Iblei in the village of Chiaramonte Gulfi in Sicily, 15 kilometers from Ragusa. The course is 5.5 kilometers long and offers an elevation of 360 meters. For this year's edition there are over 220 competitors.

Didier Bugeja on Peugeot 106 - E1 - 1600, Joe Anastasi on Mini Cooper S - E2SH - 1600, Noel Galea Ford Escort 2 - E2SH - 2000, James Dunford on Radical Suzuki - E2SS - 1600, Darren Camilleri Tatuus Honda - E2SS - 2000 and Mark Micallef on Suzuki Force - E2SS - 2000 will be the representing our country in their respective classes.
