Children, youths and their officers attended this year's summer camp, which was held at the Ghajn Tuffieha campsite from 13 to 18 August.

The summer camp, spanning over a total of eight days, including the advance and rear party, proved to be a big success for the group, with all the youths involved having a whale of a time. Among various normal activities like flag assemblies, swimming, crafts, holy masses, prayers, night walks, treasure hunts, a biodiversity quiz, a parents' evening and camp duties, a paint fight, a water game, a bocci competition and a compass game were also held.

This year's theme was Green Earth, Better Earth in conjunction with an Erasmus+ Exchange where 13 participants from France together with 15 participants from the Salesian Brigade joined forces in general camp chores and activities related to the theme. A Gozo trip, a Wasteserv visit, two clean-ups, a visit to the GAIA Foundation and coastal tower, a paintball fight, an intercultural night, evaluation meetings and a Youthpass presentation during an evening buffet were also organised.

A fundraiser BBQ was held during the traditional campfire where parents and friends of the Salesian Oratory were invited. This was a very well attended event were singsongs, skits and a traditional Chinese Dragon dance was performed by all the campers. Holy Mass was celebrated by the Brigade chaplain and animated by the Salesian worship team. The best group, best female and male camper were also announced during this event.
