Floriana yesterday announced that former Belgian international Luis Oliveira will be their coach for the rest of the season. He will replace Nicolas Chiesa who parted ways with Floriana a couple of days ago.

This will be Oliveira's second stint with the greens having guided them to a fifth place in season 2015-2016. Floriana had a dismal start so far this season suffering two consecutive defeats against Hamrun Spartans and Sliema Wanderers.

The greens' first commitment under Oliveira will be another tricky test against high-flying Hibernians when the Premier League resumes in two weeks' time after the international break.
