On the 1st and 2nd of September Malta will be participating in the World Cup of Table Football, which this year is going to be held in Gibraltar.  There will be 18 countries participating, with over 200 players. 

On Saturday there will be the individual competitions.  For the Open Category Malta will be represented by Massimo Cremona, Samuel Bartolo, Derek Conti, and Joseph Borg Bonaci.  In the Veteran Category Malta will be presented by Mario Camilleri, Charlie Aquilina, John Zammit, Jason Pisani and Joseph Mifsud.  Jurgen Balzan will be representing Malta in the Under 19 Category.

On Sunday there will be the team event.  Malta will be participating in the Open Category and the Veteran Category.  The Open team will be composed of Derek Conti (captain), Massimo Cremona, Samuel Bartolo, Joseph Borg Bonaci and Jurgen Balzan.  The Veteran team will be composed of Charlie Aquilina (captain), Mario Camilleri, Joseph Mifsud, Jason Pisani (MTFSA Treasurer) and John Zammit.

The Maltese contingent will also include Mr Felix Rizzo (MTFSA secretary) and Mrs Monalita Balzan (MTFSA P.R.O) and will be leaving Malta on Friday 31st August.
