A 30-year-old Portuguese woman was grievously injured in a crash this afternoon, which occurred at 3pm.

The incident took place on Triq Sant'Andrija St Julian's. The collission involved a Nissan NV200 driven by a Maltese man, and a motorbike driven by a Portuguese man. The 30-year-old Portuguese woman was riding pillion on the bike.

The Portuguese woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for care.

Investigations are ongoing.
