A Libyan man was found dead in Birzebbuga this morning, the police said.

The Libyan was discovered in a container in the Hal Far industrial estate, limits of Birzebbuga, at 6.15am.

The Libyan, aged 51, had serious wounds to the head, probably caused by a fall, the police said.

He was certified dead on site.

Magistrate Natasha Galea Sciberras is conducting an inquiry.

The police investigations continue.
