Two persons were in hospital after a domestic argument escalated in Marsascala this afternoon, the police said.

The incident happened at a house on Triq l-Iskall at around 3.20pm, the police said.  Within minutes, several police officers and an ambulance were at the scene.

A woman nursing a wound on her shoulder was subsequently escorted into an ambulance by medics.  

The two persons were injured by broken glass.
