Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana has announced that on Monday, work to rebuild Mgarr Road, Nadur, will begin.

This arterial road is a traffic hot spot, and links Nadur to Mgarr.

The project will include increased security measures to reduce traffic accidents. This road is in a bad state, the minister said, noting that it has been abandoned for many years.

The ministry mentioned that a number of roadworks are ongoing in Gozo, and noted that a plan is in place for 2019.
