Tuesday, 18 September 2018, 13:55 Last update: about 7 years ago

Mizzi Organisation today disassociated itself from a statement issued by its chairman Maurice Mizzi – as Guardian of Future Generations – with regard to the planned project by db Group on the site formerly occupied by the Institute of Tourism Studies.

In a statement today, Mizzi Organisation referred to the public statement issued by the board of the Guardian of Future Generations two days ago, with regard to the City Centre development project proposal in Pembroke.

“Mizzi Organization disassociates itself from that statement and the fact that it was issued under the signature of its Chairman Chev. Maurice Mizzi, who is also a director in the said Mizzi Organisation, should not be construed as reflecting the position of the Mizzi Organization.”

On Monday the Guardian of Future Generations, which Chev. Maurice Mizzi heads, expressed itself publicly against the plans, saying that the development is ‘unfavourable’.
