Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is on his way to New York where he will attend the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly. More than 120 country leaders will be present.
The theme of the assembly will be ‘Making the United Nations relevant to all people’.
Muscat will also be attending a summit on global peace on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nelson Mandela, former South African president.
Muscat will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Carmelo Abela and MP Glenn Bedingfield.
