A 31-year-old man from Xghajra suffered grievous injuries on Monday afternoon while working at a factory in Bulebel, the police said.

The man suffered cuts to his hand while unloading merchandise from a trailer.

The accident took place at around 1.45pm.

An ambulance was called and the man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital, where his injuries were certified as grievous.

The police are investigating.
