21-year-old man from Mosta was grievously injured on Thursday in a traffic accident in Attard.

The police said the accident happened in Triq il-Pitkali Attard at 1.30pm. 

The was was driving a Daelim motorcycle that was involved with an Alfa Romeo that was being driven by a 73-year-old man from Attard.

The motorcyclist was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Police investigations are ongoing.
