The highest pole in Malta – in Nadur, Gozo – was broken in high winds this evening.

Photos sent to this portal by Anaca Photography show the pole which was broken a few feet off the ground at around 6.45pm this evening.

The pole was anchored near the Kenuna Tower in Nadur.

It was 147 feet high.
