Two bikers and another person were injured in two separate accidents in Luqa and Attard on Tuesday afternoon, the police said.
In Luqa, an Albanian biker was seriously injured when the bike he was riding was involved in a collision with a truck.
The accident happened in Hal-Farrug Road at 1.30pm.
The biker, aged 44 of Birkirkara, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. An Albanian woman, who was riding pillion, was also slightly hurt.
The truck driver, a 51-year-old man of Mosta, was unhurt.
In the second accident, which took place in Nutar Zarb Street in Attard at 5.30pm, a biker was injured after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a Citroen C3.
The biker, a 56-year-old man of Mosta, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the car, a 59-year-old woman of Attard, was not injured.
