The Gozo International Kite and Wind Festival was held on Saturday in Gharb, Gozo.

The skies over the tranquil Gozitan village were filled with kites of every shape and colour during the event, which was held from morning till evening.

The festival, which was organized by the Ministry for Gozo and the Gharb Local Council, featured traditional and professional kite flyers and also provided room for visitors to come out and experience what it is like to fly a kite.

Attendees were also able to take part in kite making workshops.

The area near San Dimitri chapel, out to the north of l-Għarb, saw a flurry of activity with food stalls, entertainment, and games complementing the main activities.
