Gozo Motocross Association will be organising Round 1 of the 2018/19 Championship next Sunday 28th October 2018.The event will be held at Ta' Xhajma Motocross Track and races will start at 1:00pm.
Following the Saturday NightMX, which turned out to be a huge success, the competitive season will soon be underway and motocross fans are eagerly waiting for the first Sunday of racing. Riders are training tirelessly at Ta' Xhajma track and fans and spectators are in for exciting and challenging set of races as new riders join our association.
Meanwhile on Sunday 4th November 2018, GMA will be organising a MotoTrial event at Il-Munxar square in collaboration with the Munxar Local Concil, Gozo Sports Board and the Ministry for Gozo.
Trials require balance and machine control. A competitor rides through an obstacle course while attempting to avoid touching the ground with the feet. Professional Maltese riders will be competing on a constructed obstacle course full of different sized elements.The designated route will be carefully contrived to test the skill of the riders themselves. Junior riders will also be testing their riding skills as they will be putting on a special kids MotoTrial show during this one-time event happening in Gozo. The event will take place between 10am and 4pm.
