Champions MARSA WHITE STARS added the J. SAMMUT Pre-season Tournament trophy to their collection, the only trophy they failed to win after making a clean sweep of the other competitions last season.  Marsa is a team with a good number of talented players. They all do their task, and they do it well. They are all a determined lot and together with their hard-working committee they are eager for success. At the moment they are the best and the team to beat. Ricardo Severino continue to get more goals receiving precise assists from his colleagues. ZURRIEQ WOLVES tried their best but this was not good enough. However, they must be congratulated in reaching their first ever final, and also for their sportsmanship winning or losing. At the end, Mr. Mario Meli, the president of Masters Football in Malta, congratulated both teams and presented the trophies and medals.
