Changpeng Zhao, Founder of Binance announced that Binance will be leading an international campaign to entice blockchain companies to donate funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation. Mr Zhao explained that the donations collected have all the characteristics of blockchain technology, thus ensuring accountability and traceability.

Whilst thanking Mr Changpeng Zhao, Founder of Binance for coming forward to support the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, The President said that "this is the very first time that this innovative groundbreaking technology is not only there for prosperity but it is also making a breakthrough for charity."

President Coleiro Preca stated that Malta has always been renowned for the value of generosity and solidarity, adding that through this new initiative, "we are internationalising the way through which the Foundation receives donations."

"I am so grateful that Binance has come forward with this new technology to entice all the partners to do good, to the many people that need our support and assistance," the President added.
