A 66-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after being hit by a motorbike on Triq il-Kbira San Guzepp, Hamrun.

The incident occurred at 10.20am. The 66-year-old from Sta venera was taken to Mater dei Hospital.

The bike rider was a 40-year-old from the Czech Republic.

Investigations are ongoing.
