A TV show contestant withdrew her participation on a Canale 5 programme after falling in love with the champion.

Valeria met Caduta Libera champion Nicolo in one of the episodes, and the two became romantically involved.

She informed the producers that she felt it was unethical for her to continue her participation.

"I think we understood that, in these weeks spent here, something was born,” she explained.

The couple managed to hold back their emotions in a very special moment also for programme host Gerry Scotti: "This is the first time I've experienced something like this in thirty years of my career".
