A man was seriously injured this morning when he fell one storey on a constrction site, the police said.

The accident took place at 8am in Merghad Street, Birkirkara.

The 63-year-old man, a foreigner residing in Hamrun, was taken to hospital for treatment.

The police did not give the man’s nationality.
