'Daphne was right' was the call to arms on Friday evening as followers of the slain journalist gathered before the Great Siege Monument, which has been used as a memorial to her, to pay respects and to demand justice.

Daphne Caruana Galizia was assassinated in a vcar bomb just outside her home in Bidnija 13 months ago to the day.

The Great Siege Monument, which was hoarded for restoration purposes, was de-hoarded for the event by participants, with candles, photos and tributes placed by Daphne followers.

The call that 'Daphne was right' comes on the back on revelations about the ownership of 17 Black a company that was opened in Dubai.
