Birkirkara FC Futsal register another well deserved victory as they defeated Pietà Hotspurs 5-1, reaching Swieqi United at the third place. Having said that, Swieqi United missed a match this week that will recover it next Monday against UM Futsal Academy.

Birkirkara looked very well organised and were pleased to introduce their latest acquisition Everton Da Silva Santos, better known as Veve, who came back to the Maltese league after his presence with Hamrun.

Birkirkara's goals came from braces by Jason Mifsud and Ayoub Ahmad, together with Rennie Tanti's goal. Pietà Hotspurs reduced the gap through Leandros Calleja's goal scored in the second half.
