The gas tanker feeding the Electrogas power station has been refilled fifteen times since its arrival in the Marsaxlokk bay, Minister for Energy and Water Management Joe Mizzi said.

Mizzi was replying to a parliamentary question on Monday made by PN MP Ryan Callus.

The controversial tanker first made its appearance in October 2016 and has since served the gas power station in Delimara.

The government had previously stated that the floating storage would be removed from Marsaxlokk once the gas pipeline was constructed. In July 2018 three call for tenders were issued related to the pipeline.
