Wednesday, 28 November 2018, 08:52 Last update: about 6 years ago

Opposition Leader Adrian Delia has yet to determine whether the motion of no confidence in Konrad Mizzi that the Partit Demokratiku moved last Friday should be discussed on 6 December 2018 or not, PD leader Godfrey Farrugia said in a statemet.

“I ask Dr. Delia: Walk your talk. Let's present the motion in Parliament so every member of the House can present their views.”

Farrugia also reiterated PD’s position that Keith Schembri's position as Chief of Staff is untenable. “I call on Prime Minister Joseph Muscat to relieve Keith Schembri from his duties. His continued presence at the heart of government may undermine the 17 Black criminal investigation.”

“Our party will continue fighting corruption, wherever it comes from. We support the work of our police force and call for the 17 Black criminal investigation to be given all resources and be free from all interference, including political interference.”
