A never-ending argument

Sunday, 2 December 2018, 07:47 Last update: about 6 years ago

After four decades of EU membership, the UK voted in a referendum to end their relationship with the EU once and for all. After months of tough negotiations with the European Union in Brussels to bring about a good BREXIT deal, very few Conservative MPs are optimistic that Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May could face down her savage critics – led mainly by Boris Johnson. Unfortunately, and to my personal regret, this is going to be a time of political danger for Theresa May because she may lose her job as prime minister.

Conservative MPs in UK have been putting spokes in the wheels for quite some time now. Their only desire is to topple Theresa May from her post as prime minister of Great Britain. In an arrogant and savagely knitted method, they slammed Theresa May's BREXIT deal by calling it a complete surrender to the EU.

During a bruising session in the Commons, Conservative backbenchers and ex ministers branded the deal as an absolute shame on Theresa May and on the government she leads.

In a bid to win support from British citizens, Theresa May is making a desperate dash around UK for her BREXIT deal to be approved with one goal in mind – to deliver  on the referendum in a way that brings the UK together again.

Unfortunately for Mrs May, there is a web of conspiracy by at least NINE ex ministers and several MPs manoeuvring to topple her, led by Boris Johnson. Ex ministers like Johnson are saying that May's deal cannot provide assurance to business because it is a huge gamble. The paradox at the heart of BREXIT is only now becoming apparent. It was brutally exposed by Johnson himself when he handed in his resignation a few weeks ago.

Everyone seems to be dissatisfied... No room left for reconciliation... Apparently, the BREXIT argument is going to continue forever...
