John Marmara was the overall winner of the Jimmy Bugeja Trap Trophy that was organised at the Qormi Clay Shooting Club.
This was Marmara's second overall victory of the season. He was accompanied on the podium by George Cassar and George Grech, who finished in the second and in third place respectively.
After two qualification rounds of 25 clay targets each, the six Finalists in the Bib number order were;
Mario Buhagiar with the score of 48/50, Christopher Vella 46/50, George Cassar 39/50+5 shoot-off, John Marmara 39/50+4 shoot-off, George Mifsud 38/50+7 shoot-off and George Grech with 38/50+6 shoot-off. Jean Pierre Mifsud lost his chance to compete in the Final Stages after he was eliminated with the result of 38/50+0 Shoot-off.
In the qualification rounds a perfect straight of 25/25 was registered by Mario Buhagiar.

4th Mario Buhagiar 15/25 + 3/5 + 5/5, total score 23/35
5th George Mifsud 15/25 + 3/5, total score 18/30
6th Christopher Vella 14/25, total score 14/25

The MSSF Shotgun Programme continues on Saturday 07 and Sunday 08 December 2018 with Mira Ghall-Istrina in all Events to be held at the Bidnija Shooting Ranges, the Qormi Clay Shooting Club and the Southern Shooting Club.
