Another construction worker was seriously injured after a fall on a construction site, the police said.

The accident took place in Joanne Garden Street, Tarxien, today at 1pm.

The 25-year-old of Fgura was seriously injured in the fall, and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.

This is the fourth serious accident reported on a coinstruction site in the last three weeks.

On Tuesday, a construction worker was injured in a fall in Zurrieq, a week after a Libyan man died in a seven-storey fall in Sliema. On 14 November, another worker was injured in Birkirkara.
