An elderly man was seriously injured on Sunday afternoon after he was hit by a car, the police said.
The accident took place in Triq il-Hlas, Qormi, at 2.30pm.
The 70-year-old Zebbug resident was hit by a Toyota Hilux driven by a 33-year-old of Qormi.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
