Three hooded men made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after a hold-up in Marsascala on Saturday evening.

The crime took place at 11.15pm in a restaurant in Triq is-Salini.

The men, one of whom was armed, entered the outlet and demanded money.

The police did not say whether there were any patrons in the restaurant at the time.

Magistrate Simone Grech is conducting an inquiry.
