Solo comedy performance at MCC breaks records

Sunday, 23 December 2018, 12:37 Last update: about 6 years ago

Solo Stand-up Comedy performance, 'No Limits' recently broke records in Malta as the first comedy solo act to perform at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in front of an audience of 750. Kevin Naudi won hearts with his hilarious script which touched on the state of national football teams, being a parent for the second time, Michael Jackson through the ages and other identifiable sketches that had the audience in stitches for an entire hour and a half.

A special mention must also go to Vlad Ilich who opened the show as the supporting act. This up and coming comedy artist was brilliant in his own right and an excellent choice to warm up the audience for what followed.

Kevin started out with his first Stand-up special 'Laughing at the Truth' in 2015. The show, written, directed and performed by Kevin, ran over two nights at the MADC Club Rooms to a packed house. This was the first time that a Maltese stand-up comedian performed solidly for over one hour single-handedly. In 2017 he went a step further with "Nothing to Hide" which was staged at Blue Box and sold out over 2 nights. Not to be out done, "No Limits" performed at the MCC saw a packed audience of 750 - the first solo performance to be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre these past 30 years!

A big thank you goes out to Sponsors Remax Alliance, Kingsway, Carlsberg and Palais Le Brun Valletta.
