A 19-year-old woman from Denmark was a victim of a robbery last night.

The incident happened at about 11:30pm in Triq il-Rebħa, Gżira.

The woman told police that a man, who she said was armed with a sharp object, approached her while she was outside her apartment and requested money from her.

The woman told him that she had no money and the robber demanded her mobile phone instead. The man fled the scene after stealing the device.

No one was injured. Investigations by the police is still ongoing.
