Three men were arrested by the police after a drug raid in Gzira, the police said in a statement.

The raid was conducted by members of the Rapid Intervention Unit, Drug Squad and Traffic Section in an apartment in Sliema Road.

The three men, aged between 30 and 48, were caught in possession of cocaine and heroin. Other paraphernalia connected with drug trafficking was lifted from the apartment.

Magistrate Josette Demicoli is leading an inquiry.
