A passenger was seriously injured when two cars collided in Naxxar early this morning, the police said.

The accident happened on Tal-Balal Road at 12.15am.

A Peugeot Partner driven by a 20-year-old man of San Gwann and a Toyota driven by a 20-year-old man of Fgura were involved in the collision.

An 18-year-old woman oh Hamrun, who was riding passenger in the Toyota, was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
